Materia was founded by Caterina Malorni. With an impressive array of experiences under her belt, Caterina has established herself as a respected figure in the industry.
Work
During her career, Caterina had the privilege of working with the world renowned EDITION hotels group across vibrant locations such as Miami, London, and Barcelona. Her expertise spanned various facets, including Food and Beverage management, running events and entertainment operations.
Embracing the dynamic world of hospitality, Caterina furthered her journey by joining Slow Hospitality during its formative years. Collaborating with visionary Claus Sendingler, after joining La Granja Ibiza, she played a pivotal role in launching properties like Tulum Treehouse and producing the Slow Circle Summit, skillfully translating the brand's vision into seamless operations.
In 2022, fueled by her passion for bringing captivating hospitality projects to life, Caterina embarked on her own venture, establishing Materia as her consultancy agency. Since its inception, Materia has successfully undertaken a range of notable projects such as Nobu Ibiza Bay, Black Swan and Ahama.
Driven by her experiences and collaborations with industry experts, Caterina curated Materia as a collective of talents, poised to assist clients in kick-starting or re-newing their hospitality businesses.
